The Mont Ventoux
Mont Ventoux, the one we nickname the “Giant of Provence”, is visible from the garden of our 3-star hotel with swimming pool near Vaison-la-Romaine. From the Mas d'Hélène, the summit of Mont Ventoux is only 30 kilometers away, taking the path via Malaucène or Bédoin. On foot, by bike, by car or by motorbike, the route to reach the summit will be exceptional. The detour will be worth the effort, from up there, you will get a superb view of the whole region.
The steps
The Provencal markets will surprise you with their diversity of colors and flavors. We meet you on Tuesday morning at the Vaison-la-Romaine market and Thursday morning at the Nyons market, to taste the famous olive.
The Sault Plateau
If you are passing through the region in June and July, make a stopover on the Plateau de Sault. You will be amazed by the discovery of lavender fields as far as the eye can see. It is a delight for the eyes and for the senses that is offered to you on the Plateau de Sault.
